Unable to Access Printer at Client Office

Issue: 

User is unable to print or access the printer at the client’s office location. 



Step 1: Verify Printer Status in Windows 
  1. Press Windows + R, type control printers, and press Enter 

  1. Find the printer name (e.g., HP-ClientOffice-123) 

  1. If it shows Offline, right-click and uncheck Use Printer Offline 


Step 2: Check Printer Installation 
  • If printer is not listed:  

  • Ask client IT for printer IP or driver installation link 

  • Add printer via Settings → Devices → Printers & Scanners → Add a Printer 


Step 3: Permissions 
  • If still unable to access, request client IT team to confirm: 

  • Your device is allowed on their print network 

  • Printer access permissions are granted
